FRC Rules and Conditions of Entry The organisers or landowners (together with any person(s) acting with their authority) will not accept responsibility for any damage, loss or injury to competitors, spectators, horses, property or staff in connection with or arising out of the show. It shall be a condition of entry that each competitor shall agree to indemnify the organisers and landowners against any legal action arising out of any incident at the show. Everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of all officials and stewards. Any accidents must be reported to the Show Secretary. Horses must be 4 years and over and may only compete in a maximum of 3 jumping classes. This competition will be run under Riding Club rules. Whilst mounted riders must be correctly attired and wearing a hard hat with a three point linkage harness properly adjusted and fastened at all times. Hat should be marked EN1384, PAS015, ASTM F1163, SNELL E2001, SNZ 3838 1998 or prefixed ASTM or SEI. Hat should also carry the Kite mark or SEI. If of skullcap style, this must be worn with a cover. Gloves must be worn in dressage tests. The Judges/ Secretarys decision is final in all cases. Failure to comply with the instructions of a Steward or Official or misuse of spurs or whips or bad language will result in automatic elimination of the relevant competitor. Failure to be ready on time will mean you can jump at the end of the class, slotting your number in front of the competitiors will not be allowed by the ring steward. No refunds will be given after the close of entries. In the event of the show being cancelled entry fees will be refunded but the organisers reserve the right to retain a small charge to cover administration costs. In the event of over-subscription entries will be balloted with Farnham Riders Club members being given priority. NO DOGS ALLOWED. The organisers reserve the right to limit any class or cancel or alter the time of any class or vary classes at their discretion, or to reject or cancel any entry. Entries will not be accepted unless they are on a signed entry form and accompanied by the appropriate fee. NO TELEPHONE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Any objections must be made to the Show Secretary in writing within 30 minutes of the incident and must be accompanied by a deposit of £20.00, which will be returned if the objection is upheld. A responsible adult MUST accompany all children under the age of 16 years and a Parent/ Guardian must sign the entry form. Horses must be kept to a walk unless in warm-up or competition arenas. Competitors are responsible for ensuring that all droppings and hay are removed from the car park. Please jump the practice jumps the correct way with the red flag on your right SUNSHINE TOUR DETAILS The Sunshine Tour is an exciting new Series in the South-East featuring unaffiliated dressage, show jumping and showing championships. The Championship Show will be held at Great Bookham Equestrian Centre on 28th September 2008. Theres a choice of 12 championship classes to qualify for and a further 5 Champion of Champions awards. Show jumping qualification: All qualifiers must be clear in the first round. 1st- 6th qualify if 12 or more in the class. Restriction: Neither horse/pony nor rider to have won more than £99 BSJA prize money or any BE points. If you qualify youll receive a Sunshine Tour qualification card simply fill in and return, or register online for an information pack and details of how to enter the Championship at Great Bookham Equestrian Centre on 28th September 2008.
